This piece is inspired by objects Rutso observed in the Juan O'Gorman mural that houses the Central Library building at UNAM. It also takes symbolic elements such as those of the zodiac that is superimposed on the blue color of the totem reminiscent of the blue tones achieved through the volcanic stones that make up the mural.
